ScanQueue is a newer QR-code queue where guests join from their phone and get called by WhatsApp or SMS. It has a free plan capped at 10 customers a day and paid plans from $49 a month, with no table map or reservations.

ScanQueue is built for a line, not a floor plan. A guest scans a QR code at your door, or taps a tablet kiosk, enters their name and party details, and walks away. They can watch their place and estimated wait in their browser, and you call them by WhatsApp or SMS. A screen mode puts the queue on a TV in your waiting area. Your staff run it from a free app on iOS or Android.

That fits a busy walk-in rush at a counter or a casual room where you want people off the sidewalk. It does not give you a table map or restaurant reservations. Online booking of time slots exists from the Growth plan up, but the data records it as appointments. Square is listed for payments on the online-ordering feature, and no waitlist-to-POS sync is described.

Pricing is public and self-serve. The Starter plan is free for up to 10 customers a day. Essential is $49 a month for up to 100 customers a day and 800 WhatsApp messages a month, with 25 SMS used only as a fallback. Growth is $99 and Pro, which adds multiple locations, is $249. Notification allowances reset monthly and the page says to upgrade at the limit. Voice calls are a custom add-on.
