Overview

TablesReady runs this comparison site, so its entry below is checked against the same pricing-page and app-store rules as every other app.

TablesReady is a waitlist and reservation app that sends guests a text once their table is ready. The free plan includes 150 messages a month, paid plans from $39 a month billed monthly, a 14-day trial and self-serve signup.

Buying style: Self-serve How we compare

TablesReady starts at the front door. Guests join the waitlist by scanning a QR code, texting in, or using a page embedded on your website, and you can add walk-ins yourself or set up an iPad as a self check-in kiosk. When their table is ready, they get a text, with a voice call as another option. From the Starter plan, guests can text back, so a party that is running late can tell you before you give the table away. A public waitlist view can show the current parties, with only the first letter of each name and an estimated wait at the top.

Reservations are there too: basic ones on Starter, and online bookings, table management with a floor plan, the Square integration and Reserve with Google on Business. The manager side of the app is in English. Guest-facing text can be customized and written in another language.

Pricing is public and self-serve. Free is $0 with 150 messages a month. Starter starts at $39 monthly for the 1,000-message tier, and Business is $79, with higher message tiers costing more. A 14-day trial needs no card. Enterprise is by contact form. Pricing is per location and rises with the message tier you choose. The quota runs on sent and received texts, resets monthly and is one tenth as large outside the US and Canada. Surveys are not built in, and there is no native Android app. Support is by email.

What happens when I use up my text messages?
