Waitlist App is built for a person standing at a door with a phone or tablet. Guests scan a QR code or tap a link, join your line, and watch their place in a browser, with no app to install. A walk-up kiosk screen and a TV waitlist board are on the feature list, and the Pro plan adds live wait estimates. Reservations and appointments can sit next to the walk-in line, and a seating chart lets you lay out your room on a grid and name the seats.
Texting depends on the plan. On the free tier, notifying a guest opens your own phone’s messaging app with a pre-filled text, so a host does the sending. Managed SMS and email, which go out automatically, start on Pro.
