Waitlist Me started in 2012 and now serves restaurants, salons, clinics and other businesses that run a line. At the host stand, guests join in several ways: a QR code on a sign by the entrance, a kiosk iPad for self check-in, a widget on your website, or Google Search for restaurants in the US and Canada. Guests get a text or a phone call when the table is ready. They can reply to say they are on the way or to cancel. A public waitlist page can run on a screen in your lobby, showing names or initials.
Reservations and appointment calendars sit beside the walk-in list. Pro adds table and resource management, reports, free-form replies and wait estimates based on recent history. Platinum adds floor plans and server management. On Clover, the app is listed in the App Market, and a Square link in the iPad app pulls customer details.
Pricing is public, and anyone can sign up. Premium is $34.99 monthly, Pro $59.99 and Platinum $99.99. Annual billing lowers each price. In the US and Canada, the monthly allowance is 1,000 notifications on Premium, 2,500 on Pro and 5,000 on Platinum, and extras are $0.02 apiece, paid from a prepaid balance. A free version of the account exists, but the pricing page shows no price card or limits for it, so confirm what it includes before you rely on it. Every location needs a subscription of its own.
