Overview

resOS is a Danish booking and table-planner system where the waitlist is a paid add-on that fills cancelled slots. Guests join from your booking page when a time is full, and staff add walk-ins by hand.

Buying style: Self-serve How we compare

resOS is built around bookings, and the waitlist sits on top of that. On a Friday night, a guest who finds your booking page full can join the waitlist from the page or widget. Your host can also add a walk-in by hand. When a cancellation opens a slot, a staff member chooses which waiting party gets it and converts the entry into a booking, which sends a booking confirmation. The waitlist page says it does not assign the next party for you, and it does not describe a text that tells a walk-in their table is ready.

Alongside that you get a table planner that shows what is booked and where to seat the next walk-in, guest profiles, reminders and follow-up messages after a visit. Email confirmations are free. SMS confirmations and custom reminders cost EUR 0.10 per message.

Pricing is by booking volume. The free tier covers 25 bookings a month but cannot add the waitlist. The lowest paid plan that can is Basic, listed at EUR 45 a month (monthly billing, regular price), plus a EUR 7.99 monthly add-on for the waitlist. The page states no per-booking, per-cover or commission fees. You can sign up yourself without talking to sales. No POS integration is recorded; connections run through Zapier and similar tools.
