Ready Text is a text waitlist. A host adds a guest’s name and phone number, and when their table is close, one tap sends the text. There is no app to install, so it runs in a browser on a PC, Mac or tablet at your host stand.
Guests can also take part from their side. They can scan a QR code, send a text or check in with your staff, and then wait wherever they like. The two-way texting lets them reply to cancel or tell you they are on their way, which saves your host a trip to the door during a Friday rush. The dashboard shows the waitlist, estimated wait times and each customer’s status.
There is one plan. It costs $49 a month with no setup fees and includes custom text messages, unlimited waitlist entries, unlimited reservations, 2,500 texts a month and email support. Texts above that are billed at $0.015 each. The texts come from a shared block of phone numbers, not from your restaurant’s own line, which matters if you want guests to recognize the sender.
