Overview
QaTable is an iPad host-stand system that keeps walk-ins, online waitlist joins and reservations in one list, with two-way texting and table maps. Plans are $39, $139 and $199 a month, with no per-cover fees.
Buying style: Self-serve How we compare
QaTable, sold as Q Host, is a host-stand system that keeps one list. Walk-ins, guests who join online and reservations all land in one list on an iPad, so your host is not juggling a paper list and a booking screen at the same time.
Every plan includes two-way texting and a table map with table status, check-down, server sections and rotation. When a Friday crowd stacks up, the host can text guests and see which sections are open. Guest replies are limited to keywords such as YES, NO and REMOTE, so it works for confirmations rather than open conversation.
What changes between plans is how guests reach you. Basic is $39 a month and runs the front door, with a Reserve Request book for called-in reservations. Better is $139 and lets guests add their party from your website, Google and social links. Best is $199 and adds online reservations without per-cover fees. The page states no booking, per-cover or usage fees, and no contract term.
You can start on your own: download Q Host on an iPad and try it free for up to 100 parties, with no credit card. No POS integration is recorded, so the host stand runs next to your register.
